If you want a silaging grass seed mixture with very fast establishment and even quicker growth, Fast Grass is the mix for you - the Westerwolds content makes it grow tall and fast for high productivity giving a well yielding quality cut.

Fast Grass can produce silage crops within 10 – 12 weeks of drilling with the right fertiliser and weather conditions.

The grass varieties included are efficient at utilising fertiliser so production can be maximised easily.

This grass seed mixture can also be sown later in autumn because the grass varieties used establish and grow well at lower ambient temperatures.

If you need additional winter/spring grazing, early autumn drilling of Fast Grass can produce a valuable bite. However, care should be taken to avoid poaching of the sward as quick growing grass varieties like these do not produce a dense base, making them more susceptible to damage by the hooves of livestock.
