Long term dual purpose grass seed mix

Herald is a versatile grass seed mix for cutting and grazing, it produces a very dense sward so is ideal for turning ewes and lambs out onto in early spring.

A range of heading dates optimises production meaning it can be grazed right through from spring to late summer. Timothy gives this grass mixture strong mid season growth and high palatability which increases voluntary intake.

This mix has a higher seed rate than most other grass mixes, ensuring quick grass establishment and maximum yield potential.

A 1kg clover blend of small, medium and large leaf clovers is included to boost forage protein and palatability, plus there are the added benefits of clovers nitrogen fixing properties. These clover leaf sizes will also suit both sheep and cattle.
