Majestic grass seed mixture has a high proportion of tetraploid ryegrass to give maximum grazing potential for your dairy enterprise.

Tetraploids are more readily grazed than diploid varieties, establishing a productive fast growing sward.

Newly sown tetraploid grass varieties can provide up to 50% more dry matter in a drought year than their diploid counterparts, making this ideal for keeping dairy cows out during the drier months whilst maintaining a high DM intake.

Majestic has a higher seed rate than other mixes as it has a larger seed size then diploid grass seed.

Dunluce is included in the mixture because it is the highest yielding variety in its Herbage Variety Guide group and it has excellent digestibility.

Majestic grass seed mix should be rotationally grazed rather than set stocked and carefully managed for maximum pasture performance.
