ORGANIC 3 YEAR RED CLOVER LEY grass seed mixture

3 year high protein, high energy silage and aftermath grazing grass seed mix

A fast establishing, high yielding 65% organic grass seed mix that will last three years, perfect for most organic systems.

The grass varieties used in this seed mix naturally have high water soluble carbohydrate (sugar) contents and the red clover yields as much dry matter as the grasses, adding protein to the sward.

This grass mix is ideal for 2-3 silage cuts with 2-3% higher protein content than a “no-clover” silage.

The generous protein content also makes this grass mix ideal for finishing lambs on; however it should not be used for flushing ewes due to the high oestrogen content of the red clover.
